WHAT I DO

BUILDING SOFTWARE.
RETHINKING HOW.

I’m a software architect, engineering leader, and co-founder of Southern Code. I’ve worked in software since 2007, from testing games to helping grow a company to more than 120 people.

SOFTWARE / PEOPLE / AI AGENTS

01 / WHAT I’M DOING NOW

Building with AI agents.

These days, I spend most of my time building with AI agents—and figuring out how to make the whole process work, from an idea to software running in production.

I run a development system across several products where agents handle discovery, planning, implementation, testing, code and security reviews, delivery, and production monitoring. What happens in production feeds back into the next round of work.

I focus on product, architecture, constraints, and direction. I build the systems around the agents and work through what needs to improve.

I’m interested in what software engineering looks like when AI becomes part of the engineering organization.

02 / THINGS I’M BUILDING

PROJECT MANAGEMENT / QA

Samu

A project management and QA platform built for teams that include AI agents. Features, requirements, tests, and QA runs live together, so a change can be traced through the work it affects.

Available through a web interface and MCP, so agents can work with the same information as people.

Humans and agents, working together

TRAVEL / CRM

Navaris

A CRM for travel agencies where an agent talks with customers through WhatsApp, qualifies leads, gathers trip requirements, and helps turn those conversations into proposals.

Built around the way travel inquiries actually arrive: a conversation.

In production with real customers

RUST / IMAGE DELIVERY

Imagery

A small, fast image transformation service built in Rust. It transforms images on demand, caches the results, and delivers them through Cloudflare.

My own take on the image-processing part of Cloudinary.

Used across my own products

SIDE PROJECTS

Games & audio

A town-management and action-roguelike game, audio software experiments, and reverse-engineering old music hardware.

I use the same agent workflow here. Different problems, and plenty to learn.

Room to try something different

03 / HOW I GOT HERE

  1. 2007 / GAMES

    Starting with the bugs.

I started testing games at Gameloft. That was my way into software.

  2. AUTOMATION

From finding problems to building tools.

At Globant, I worked on automation for clients including Disney and BioWare. Later, I worked as an SDET at William Hill in Leeds.

  3. SOUTHERN CODE

Building a company and its engineering team.

I co-founded Southern Code and eventually became VP of Engineering. We grew from three partners to more than 120 people, building software for companies in the US and Canada.

I interviewed hundreds of engineers, hired more than 100 people, and worked with clients on architecture and technical sales. I also stayed hands-on with some of our most complex systems.

ONE OF THOSE SYSTEMS / 3SIXTY

I helped architect a corporate relocation platform from its early stages, including a modular Next.js and Django architecture and a distributed, real-time pricing engine.

  4. TODAY / AI AGENTS

    A different way to build.

I’m bringing that experience into engineering workflows built around agents, using my own products to put the ideas to work.
